Close to the Flower is a new seasonal highlight of Howlin’s winter collection.

It features a unique multi-colored pattern which has been designed in-house. The aim of making our own Howlin’ knitting patterns is to bring a fresh somewhat twisted approach to Irish knitwear while respecting its rich heritage. Keeping the best of the old techniques and mix it with new ideas and color combinations.

It’s crafted in Ireland out of 100% natural wool. The responsibly sourced comes from sheep that roam freely on the fells and downs of the British Isles and thrive on a simple blend of grass, water, fresh air and sunshine. Every year they are sheared in the Spring months which helps rid them of potentially damaging infections and keeps them cool during the summer months. A truly unique wool, often imitated but never duplicated.
